Now - 1am (Sun): While you may notice radar returns over the area, dry air at the surface will keep any precipitation from reaching the ground through at least 10pm. Light snow showers possible mainly after 10pm. Could see a dusting to an inch through 1am. Surface temperatures between 14 and 16.
1am - 7am: Snow will steadily increase in intensity. By 7am, could be nearing an inch per hour at times. Snow accumulation of 2 to 3 inches. Surface temperatures rising from 14 to (19 to 21) by 7am.
7am - 1pm: Snow, heavy at times, will be the story of the morning hours. Snowfall rate could reach 1 to 2 inches per hour. Could have periods of time when visibility is reduced to under a half mile. Snow may begin mixing with sleet by 11am. Specific timing of precipitation type changes will depend on the track of the low. Snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches. Surface temperatures reaching 27 to 28 by 1pm.
1pm - 7pm: Precipitation likely changes to sleet by 1pm. Freezing rain could begin mixing in by 3pm to 4pm. Sleet accumulation around .5 inches. Ice accretion of .1 to .15 inches. Surface temperatures peaking around 30 at 3pm, falling back to 27 by 7pm.
7pm - 1am (Mon): Freezing rain and sleet continues through 8pm. As low pressure bombs to our east, colder air flows in starting at the surface. Ice mixture changes to all snow by 9pm. Backlash could continue through 1am. Snow accumulation 2 to 3 inches. Sleet accumulation around .5 inches. Ice accretion of .1 to .15 inches. Winds pick up to 30mph out of the north. Temperatures falling steadily to 21 by 1am.
1am - 7am: Slight chance of a few scattered snow showers. No accumulation expected. Winds will continue to increase with gusts possibly reaching 40mph. Could see significant blowing and drifting of snow depending on how much sleet and freezing rain accumulates. Visibility could be cut short at times.
