Sunday, February 11th, 2007 Forecast

Today will start off sunny across the region: a very nice morning indeed. Temperatures this morning started out in the single digits to low teens, but will rebound quickly under the strong sun. Clouds will be on the increase this afternoon as a short wave advances towards the region. It will come as another dry one, but will be the trigger for lake effect snows to start up again tonight. Scattered snow showers could affect western MA into VT tonight and Monday, with accumulations of a dusting to one inch possible.

Of course the main weather story this week is the potential major winter storm on Wednesday. Details on the storm are in the previous post.
