Notice also the large region of moderate to heavy precipitation off of the delmarva peninsula. That area is associated with a coastal low that will slide well east of the region. However the models have recently been coming in a little wetter for the cape and SE MA. So depending on boundary layer temperatures there, some areas could pick up 2" to 4" of snow tonight.

Snow squalls
Moving through NY and S VT right now. Looks like most of it is going to end up getting trapped over the mountains to our west, but we could see a quick burst or two of snow later tonight with generally under an inch of accumulation. If more bands can punch through the barrier then maybe a few spots could reach two inches of powder through 3am.
