September in the books

The month of September featured primarily ridging in the east which contributed to above normal temperatures for the better part of the month, in particular the first week. It also gave the region prolonged periods of dry weather. However, four storms, the 6th, 9th, 14th, and 26th resulted in overall above normal rainfall, with a total of 5.45" versus the norm of 3.11"
